The dull lighting shows the audience the time of the short film, it is set at 3am at night. Lighting – The lighting throughout is dark and dull, the lightest aspects within the frame is Charlie. It is also a very stereotypical office, you can tell that it is a modern present day because it has up to date printers and computers for the year (2008). ![]() The audience is familiar with this because many of the general public have worked or work in offices and so it creates a sense of normality. Using an everyday setting this enables an audience to relate to the mise en scene while also making it more believable especially for a Sci-Fi film. Mise en Scene – The film is set in a typical office space with the usual office appliances. ![]() as he finds a safe with a hefty amount of money in it and attempts to obtain it. This enables Charlie to walk through walls and anything in his way, suddenly the possibilities seem endless. Plot – Charlie is at work late and photocopies a Black Hole. ![]()
